About Verac
Verac is a federal monarchy. The King of the United Kingdom of Verac is in fact the holder of three main positions - King of Upper Verac (Roi de Haute-Verac), King of Lower Verac (Roi de Basse-Verac) and Lord of Molyneux (Seigneur de Molyneux). In addition, the King holds the position of Lord of Modbury (Seigneur de Modbury), though this is now in commission.
Government

Verac is based on the many historical systems of English government. Its historical status, however, is strictly modern day.
Whilst the King retains absolute power, most affairs are run by the three regional governments and their constituent assemblies, all of which are democratically elected.
Language
The official languages of Verac are Upper Veracois (English) and Lower Veracois (French). All Government business is conducted in both languages.
